I have a dream; to be financial freedom. As a graduate, I worked as a floor manager, long hours with low pay. A year later, I told myself, I got to change an environment. I got an interview with my leader, she told me she got a system that can allow me to achieve my dream, I just need to follow. After much consideration, I told myself, “Why not”, and I joined the team as a Financial Services Consultant in year 2020. Shortly after I joined, circuit breaker lock-down. I was lost, I thought I couldn’t get through that period of time because I only have small circles of friends. However, I’m glad that my agency never giving up on me, they give me a lot of patience and encouragement, re-enforce the system and guided me through.

My group leader help me to leverage on the system, to build on my strengths make sure I’m on track towards my career goal. Right now, thanks to my group and my seniors. I very proud to say that I have pass through the most challenging period and I will be achieving my goal year after year, till my dream comes through. I love being financial services consultant and I love my job!

I am Sue, I come from Myanmar. I joined the team after my graduation In Singapore. I would like to share with you some of my joy of joining this agency. Before I join this agency, I did not have a concrete dream or a goal. Life was simple, get a job, have a stable salary and that’s good enough for me. But life gradually changed after joining this agency. With the guidance from all my seniors, I started to taste of success, from small goals, it becomes bigger ones. As I mature, and gained confidence, I see my future better and I started to paint my dream.

I believe everything is possible, I just need to stay focus, follow the system that my boss created for me since my first day here. Besides working, our environment is pretty much like a family. My boss not only teaches us in work related things but also activities like roller blading, and cycling, We created outdoor activities that can keep us to active and also stay fit. My name is Kyaw Swar Htet, but many know me as Blake. I come from the serene landscapes of Myanmar's Shan State and embarked on an extraordinary journey when I left home in 2012 to pursue my studies in Singapore. After graduating in 2017, life took an unexpected turn when I joined this organisation in September 2018. This was not just the start of a new job, but my very first career, and it was in an industry I had no prior knowledge of, primarily because insurance wasn't a common career path in Myanmar.

The beginning of my career at AIA was undoubtedly challenging. I found myself in uncharted territory without the support network of relatives and friends that many rely on when entering a new field. However, during these challenging times, I had the privilege of receiving invaluable guidance and support from my mentor. My mentor was nothing short of transformative. With his unwavering support and my relentless dedication, I managed to achieve incredible milestones. In 2019, I qualified my first Achiever Trip in Shanghai. Just a year later, in 2020, I celebrated not one, but two extraordinary achievements - my first MDRT qualification and a memorable first Convention trip in Hawaii.

These accomplishments are a testament to the opportunities my company has provided me. The organization's culture of growth, excellence, and unwavering support has allowed me to flourish in the insurance industry. Each day, I am deeply grateful for the obstacles I've surmounted and the heights I've reached.

My journey, from a newcomer to the insurance world to where I stand today, wouldn't have been possible without the remarkable individuals I've had the privilege to work with, the invaluable support of my mentor and the trust of my clients. Hi, I'm Joleen and I joined the group in the year I turned 30. I graduated with degree in Accounting & Finance, and I was an accounting executive before becoming a financial consultant. I hated my job, but I had no idea what I want and I was stuck, afraid of taking the step to leave my job.

Long story short, I came to know about STG through a friend and I just decided to do it. Since then, I never looked back and I am so glad that I made the decision to join this big family. I now earning an income 5 times more than my previous job. I have dreams, I have goals, and most importantly, I have a vision of who I want to become which I never had and never knew. I found myself at the age of 30, so it's never too late!

Hi there, I’m Jerry. I joined this group in Year 2017. Firstly, I enjoy working with this team. We have a “Work-Life-Happy Culture” here where beside on our daily work activities, we have our regular daily morning gym to start our day right. In order to understand each other better, our boss led us to have group activity regularly like Rollerblading and cycling. With such environment, it helps us to nurture discipline and develop consistency in our daily activities as well as our personal life.

Our office is like my second home whereby I spend most of my time with the people here. My Director, managers and colleagues are always there for me. They gives me a sense of belonging that is so important to a foreigner like me. A working system is introduced to me to follow on my daily work activities so as to guide me to be on track always. I have achieved many things in my 6 years here, both monetary and as well as recognition. With the team, I am happy that I am able to move towards the dream of my life.

My name is Angeline. I came to Singapore in year 2019. That year, I came here to look for a job. Coincidently, I was approached by Jerry whom is one of my colleague now. He was doing a roadshow during that time. After knowing that I was looking for a job, he suggested to me, why not join him. After listening to his sharing, I discussed with my parents and they encouraged me to give it a try.

I officially joined the team in March 2021. I faced many challenges when I first started. With the help from my mentor and my team mates, I overcome the obstacles one by one. This is my 3rd year in the industry, I see myself growing and I enjoy my job. This is a satisfying and meaningful career. It gave me a good income and as well as giving me a work-life balanced enviroment.

Hi, I am Queena Kek. I graduated with a Diploma in Business from my hometown Batu Pahat. When I came to Singapore, I did a part time Diploma course in Temasek Polytechnic and thus graduated with a Diploma in Accounting & Financial. After graduation, I worked as a Senior Finance Executive in the Cargo Industry. Like many others, I procrastinated to do sales related job. After working for 7 years as an Account Executive, I met up with Angeline by chance. She recruited me and show me the beauty of working as a Financial Services Consultation. After much consideration, I decided to walk out from my comfort zone and gave myself a chance, to proceed with a career switch. I joined this team in the beginning of year 2023.

In this team, I was given a system by my mentor. I was guided to follow with this system on my daily activity. My team mates were always there to give me supports and encouragement whenever I met challenges. I see myself getting better in my results week after week. I believe I will do well and be successful, just like my seniors.
